Holidays
The firm typically offers 10 to 12 paid holidays and one floating holiday each year.
Vacation
Vacation time is accrued each pay period starting on the date of hire. Accruals are based on service with the Firm and position, ranging from three to four weeks. New hires are eligible to take vacation after completing three months of service. Time off is pro-rated for part-time employees.
Personal Time
Eligible employees qualify for two paid personal days per year. Personal Time is pro-rated for part-time employees based on their regularly-scheduled work hours. Full-time employees hired after July 1st of any given year receive one (1) paid personal day for the remainder of that year.
Parental Leave
Goodwin provides up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave for the birth or placement of a child. Employees are eligible as of their date of hire. Birth parents who have met eligibility requirements for Short-Term Disability are also eligible for compensation continuation under the Short-Term Disability Policy.
Personal Leaves
Goodwin provides up to 12 weeks of paid personal leave during any 24-month period for Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) qualifying types of reasons to care for a family member. Employees are eligible as of their date of hire.
